Purpose of this Home Page
The purpose of this page is to be the home page of your project, and you find it in file project/main/home_page.htm. Suggestions of what you might want to put on it:
- News regarding the project
- Project status reports
- Meeting schedule, links to agendas, minutes
- Demo schedule
- Thank you's to team members who have done extraordinary efforts
- New members on the team -- or thank you's to those who leave
- Team members' happy birthday wishes or other such occasions
- Book reviews
- Seminar or course reviews/recommendations
- ...
The file with the frames structure is called project/index.htm.
What might also be useful is a search engine, either directly on the home page, or on a linked page. (The treebrowser entry for search is set to this page with a bookmark in this paragraph for search.) This is just an example of a search form. You must replace this with a search form that works with your webserver. Talk to your local webmaster.
